A Little About Myself

My name is Alex China Gracia — founder of CVLZD, a brand born from struggle, purpose, and transformation. I come from a past marked by pain, silence, and survival — but I turned it into a voice, a vision, and a movement. Fashion became my armor. Mental health became my message. Empowerment became my mission.

Through CVLZD, I’m not just building a brand — I’m building a legacy. I speak to the youth who feel invisible, to the dreamers fighting demons, to the leaders still finding their voice. I represent character, vision, leadership, zone, and dedication.

I don’t just design clothes — I design identity, healing, and hope.

JUVENILE EMPOWERMENT

100 Black Men of South Florida, Inc., founded in 1989, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to mentoring and improving the lives of African-American youth through programs in education, leadership, health, and economic empowerment

Civilized Nations (CVLZD) is a purpose-driven lifestyle brand founded on authenticity, resilience, and integrity. Inspired by the journey of founder Alex “China” Gracia, CVLZD creates high-quality garments that represent strength, honor, and the pursuit of greatness against all odds.

There is potential in everyone — we help uncover it.
Through mentoring, we connect caring adults with youth facing challenges to support growth in education, career, and life. Together, they build relationships, set goals, and achieve success.

Testimonial

It’s my pleasure to recommend Alex China Gracia as a speaker! China was our opening keynote speaker at the 2022 Florida Literacy Conference. We found him to be a dynamic presenter with a compelling message of how, through creativity and perseverance, he overcame considerable obstacles in life to build a successful company. China did a great job connecting with the audience, especially our adult learners!
